These 2 books are very nice , and are excellent quality . Pretty good history books and each contain about 20 comics. I was mostly a Marvel fan growing up... my favorite was Spider-Man... I had a subscription to Ravage 2099 .... I basically got into comics right around the time Superman died. I never got into DC .... honestly never gave them a chance. Recently I’ve changed my tune..... I just finished reading 1985-86s Crisis of Infinite Earths which got me interested in knowing a lot of those characters more. Currently I am reading Green Lantern Rebirth .... never read a Green Lantern in my life.... I really dig this book and Book Five of The Walking Dead collection. I have recently bought 3 omnibus’s... all DC ... New 52 Zeros , Aquaman , and He Man.... the He Man book is da bomb... basically I like a good mix. These 2 80th anniversary collections are definitely a Excellent deal for the price I paid... $ 30.00 for both. Personally I’d say these are best for either a old school fan or someone looking for a history lesson.
